The new Hyatt in Downtown Miami and One Brickell City Centre proposals are scheduled to be voted on by Commissioners at an upcoming meeting on July 28th.
The Hyatt in partnership with Gencom will be comprised of 3 towers rising 95, 61, and 61-stories with 1532 residences, 264 serviced apartments, 615 hotel rooms, 188,000 sqft of event space, and 1096 parking spaces. The proposed 99 year land lease would be paid for by the developer with the larger sum of either 2.5% of gross revenue or $2,500,000, in addition to $5,400,000 for an affordable housing fund.
One Brickell City Centre is a proposed 80-story office tower. Some changes to the original plans include a larger floor plate and underground parking, loading dock, and metromover connection replaced by above ground components. Public plazas and extended climate ribbon are also proposed.
